Nope, still got a good 10mbs to drop before that.
Almost certainly is the deepest strengthening 70kts hurricane ever though...a small record but likely the first in the 2010 hurricane season.

Although a hurricane making landfall in Haiti would be even more destructive than normal, in a country which is already the most hurricane-prone in the Western Hemisphere (in terms of deaths), the deadliest Atlantic hurricane on record is at LEAST 22,000 deaths (and likely many more). The deadliest storm ever was over 500,000. Even Mitch, which likely killed over 20,000 (unofficial numbers of course), would be difficult to surpass.
It could be the deadliest in Haiti's history though, were it to happen...of course, that would still be a major disaster.
But deadliest ever? Even in the Atlantic basin? Nah...I could only see that happening if a storm sits and spins over Haiti for days and days on end. God forbid if that happens, I don't even want to imagine the destruction. I can't recall any tropical systems stalling over Hispaniola though.
As for me, I'm not going to speculate on any records this year.
