Direct hit on Bermuda on this run, it does recurve but a little later on this run compared to the 12z.

18zGFS seems to be slower too, could it be that the trades have slowed that much as shown in this run

I imagine NHC is waiting for the whole complex to emerge the coast and see if there is a surface low forming before they begin to mention it on the TWO's.The same for having invest up.

Yeah it's recurves a bit more west but that trough along the Eastern Seaboard of the U.S. is quite amplified. The CMC, GFS, and ECMWF are showing this type of pattern for the next a couple of weeks, and the GFS and ECMWF are both recurving the system every run for the past several runs. Granted things can change with the models but plenty of time to watch this.

Cape Verde storms for the last couple of years have been recurving between 50 and 60 w it a weird pattern maybe its the norm and system that make itr this far west is an oddity.

large explosion of convection around the low level circ observed earlier... should be an invest in the morning and with that amount of very very cold cloud tops could be looking at 40%.
