Oh yeah your right, worse things could have happened. Its just that some people were not so lucky. I use to live in Houma and did not give much thought to this part of the parish before I moved here. I am still amazed by how the littlest things that did not do anything to the Northern areas really can hurt people in the Southern areas. I never realized that the same system could effect the same general area in such different ways.

forget Texas, what about South America?
Judging by the storm motion we're seeing now, this thing may just plow into South America ... never mind Texas or Mexico!
