Thanks for the thoughts and prayers, everybuddy!! Got to check in a couple more times than I anticipated, but now this is it -- last post, then I'm packing up my machine.
A bit of advice to anyone who ends up in our shoes -- try to get a full night of sleep before you evacuate. I tossed and turned until at least 3:30 and just woke up about an hour ago. And when I did, I seriously felt like someone physically punched me in the chest. This isn't gonna be easy....

That's a great point (albeit hard to do when you're worried about a storm). Adding sleep deprivation to evacuation stress can make for a tough time.
