ERNESTO IS NOW A TD..... NOW WE MUST FORECAST WHAT HAPPENS IN THE ATLANTIC.... I THINK WE MAY HAVE A STRONG TS BEFORE LANDFALL IN SC.

For what they are saying here is SC and NC at the Cape Fear River. But it is ERNESTO

People in the Carolina 's be alert because were getting sustained 30 to 40mph gusts right now for the last 2 hours. Very little rainfall though.

I also think it's funny how we've lost people today. People that are actual weather enthusiasts, don't tend to care where it makes landfall or goes afterwards, they keep watching..

All these..."florida is the only state" people annoy the crap out of me..

I have to agree a bit, although not with FL people so much cause they are just tired right now, but with the media who has written this whole thing off and a non-event and not paying a bit of attention to where it will head next. Fl was the big news event yet I believe most of the time in the past few days they thought that SC/NC would get the worst of the system. There is no mention of anything on MSNBC except for Ernesto was weaker than they imagined.
It's not over yet!

In all fairness, there were a lot less Carolinians on the board when Ernesto was heading towards the Western Gulf. It's just the way it is.

Ernesto appears he is continuing to maintain himself. Look at how well he is doing over the everglades....with lots of deep reds firing up just SW of the center

I really take exception to your remarks...I live in Florida and I love to watch the tropics...just because we don't post every 5 or 10 minutes doesn't mean we have stopped following the storm...I find it interesting how 5 days ago there were few Carolinas' posters but since Monday they have came out of the woodwork...
