Wanted to post this article by Mark Sudduth detailing how this upcoming hurricane season looks to be leaning toward an active season.

I don't know if Jim Williams from Hurricane City would be included here but I like to here his predictions and read his city database. He released this on the 15th.

Quote from Jim
I am basing my predictions this year on a busy season of roughly 14 to 16 named storms give or take.

Re: Expert forecasts for 2016 N Atlantic Hurricane Season
The higher end of the forecast numbers might be reached if we get a second named storm before the season officially begins.

Re: Expert forecasts for 2016 N Atlantic Hurricane Season
It looks like there is something to keep an eye on in the Caribbean. Models are hinting at a low forming a little more than a week out. Still early, but still something to watch. Water temps are good, low shear, sufficient moisture. It's definitely interesting to consider.

Also, his higest risk area in his earlier forecast which was between east Tx to Fl panhandle. It is now from mid Mx to north of Boston. Quite a change I'd say.
