Well I followed Dennis over here. Nahhhhh I'm not a stalker but he and Michelle are good friends. It was during the mass exodus and I missed many of my friends that posted on the front porch and the pot belly stove. I still go over there to the garden forum and stop in at the porch once in a while.

The friendships here are truly amazing.
Thanks Dennis

And I, as member #4, watched as Marshall and Chad built her from the ground up.

Good topic, Dennis. Always good to bring up some old topics for new members, especially one like this.

Member #21 here.

I registered the day after HD. So, I was almost here from the ground up. I didn't become an active member until Wednesday, February 5th, 2002; that lasted several months to about a month or two ago when I have "found it more difficult" to take part in topics brought up.

How do you know what member # you are? I was late...missed the bandwagon journey here. I had never posted on TWC boards, always was chat queen, but during that time I was seldom even there. I don't remember who asked me over? Miss Mary? Chad? Eric? Do any of you remember if you invited me over? Glad S2k is here...its a great place to hang...

Fur - chat queen! LOL I can't remember if I should get credit for first inviting you to Storm2K but I'm sure somewhere along the way I chimed in with others who were here already and found S2K to be our new 'wx home'. I know I must have pestered you at sometime to join! I did that sort of thing quite a bit back then! And sometimes still do (Keirs is my latest conquest!).

WOW! I'm # 15! I started at GOPBI in 2000 and I followed it every year. I think I was following the trail of news about the new message board and signed up as soon as it was ready.

I used to think that S2K was like a room full of people at a cocktail party sipping wine and champagne and GOPBI was like a bunch of people hanging out at the bar on Friday nite!! Then GOPBI changed their format and all the bar people crashed the cocktail party and BOY, was that crazy for awhile! But happily, we have all learned to get along over the months and the cocktail party people have learned to have a little more fun and the bar people have learned to settle down a bit....

Now please nobody get offended, it's just a silly observance....but you know, there is some truth to it!! :)

Do you remember storm96.com, 97, 98 99, 2000?
I was always there. My username never changed. I almost never posted, but have been around for many years now.

Member #556, I found the site through a link on WREL's Hurricane page..which I found through a link on TWC. I wasn't invited to the S2K party, but I'm harmless and don't eat much.

How strange it is for some people (who were members here) to put down greetings on a message board.
