A BROAD LOW PRESSURE AREA CENTERED ABOUT 600 MILES NORTHEAST
OF THE LEEWARD ISLANDS CONTINUES TO SHOW SIGNS OF ORGANIZATION.
THIS SYSTEM HAS SOME POTENTIAL FOR TROPICAL OR SUBTROPICAL
DEVELOPMENT OVER THE NEXT DAY OR TWO AS IT MOVES WEST-NORTHWESTWARD
AT 10 TO 15 MPH.
10:30 PM TWO for 95L.

We should see Vince by morning. We're getting pretty close to Alpha!!!
CycloneEye: Everytime I look at your icon, it drives me nuts. I think it's the radar view for the what the tropical activity you talk about in your posts. More than once I've thought: "whoa that's a doozie, where'd that come from?!"

That is Hurricane Georges on Radar as it was making landfall here in Puerto Rico.

Looks more interesting than the other invests but won't the trough take this one out to sea? It looks like a fish to me. If the trough wasn't a player it seems like it could make it to the East coast with no problem. What is the latest model runs showing for this later down the road? Can somebody show me?

Bet you wouldn't be cheerleading if this were another one headed for the Gulf. Haven't you had enough of this awful season, or are you so desperate to see the Greek Alphabet?
I'm cheering for the greek alphabet but I also hope they are fish. This is a hurricane board in this is what we do.

Actually, there's a secondary peak around this time in October, so I'm not at all surprised.
Let us not forget that Mitch and Lenny(both major hurricanes) both happened in October(Mitch was at the END of October).
