Waves at 12:05 UTC on 7/12/23.

A central Atlantic tropical wave is analyzed south of 15N along
35W, moving west at 10 to 15 kt. Isolated to scattered moderate
convection is observed near mainly west of the wave axis from 06N
to 08N.

An eastern Caribbean tropical wave is analyzed along 62W/63W,
moving west at 20 kt. A scatterometer satellite pass from 02 UTC
showed fresh to strong E to SE winds across the Leeward and Virgin
Islands, between the tropical wave and high pressure farther
north. Regional radar imagery shows a few passing showers in the
area of stronger winds.

A western Caribbean Sea tropical wave has its axis along 83W/84W,
south of 21N, moving westward at 10-15 kt. Scattered showers and a
few thunderstorms are noted over the northeast Caribbean ahead of
the tropical wave.

The clouds associated with this wave look a bit suspicious.
I've been watching it for the last day or so.

moving westward at 15-20 kt. A dry Saharan airmass has enveloped
the wave and no deep convection is associated with this feature.

Another central Atlantic tropical wave extends along 60W, south
of 19N, moving westward at 15-20 kt. Scattered moderate convection
is ahead of the tropical wave over the Windward Islands.

A western Caribbean Sea tropical wave extends along 82W, south of
20N, moving westward at 10-15 kt. The wave axis stretches from
western Cuba to western Panama. The wave is enhancing the

Waves at 06:05 UTC on 7/25/23:
An eastern Atlantic tropical wave has its axis along 36W, south of
19N, moving westward at around 15 kt. Most of the wave axis is
enveloped by dry Saharan dust, thus no deep convection is present.

A tropical wave, associated with Invest 95L, is near the Lesser
Antilles, extending from 20N59W to 05N61W. The wave is moving
westward at around 20 kt. Scattered moderate to isolated strong
convection is noted from 08N to 19N and between 50W and 64W,
affecting portions of the Lesser Antilles. A recent scatterometer
satellite pass captured fresh to strong easterly winds from 12N
to 23N and between 52W and the Lesser Antilles. Seas are 6-9 ft in
the area described, with the highest seas occurring near 15N55W.
Development, if any, of this system should be slow to occur during
the next day or two before it moves into a region of unfavorable
upper-level winds. Even though development is unlikely, locally
heavy rains and strong gusty winds are expected across portions of
the Lesser Antilles during the next day or so, and this system
has a low chance of tropical cyclone development.

A new wave was subsequently added near 19W on the 6z Surface Pressure Analysis:

Waves at 12:05 UTC on 7/25/23:
A tropical wave has been introduced to this analysis, extending
its axis along 19W and S of 19N. The wave is estimated to move W
at around 10 kt. Scattered moderate convection is noted along the
wave axis mainly E of 24W.

An eastern Atlantic tropical wave has its axis along 37W, south
of 19N, moving W at around 10-15 kt. Most of the wave axis is
enveloped by dry Saharan dust, thus no deep convection is present
at this time.

A tropical wave, Invest 95L, extends from 20N60W to 05N63W. The
wave is moving W at 10-15 kt. Scattered moderate convection is
noted from 11N to 22N and between 55W and 67W, affecting the
Lesser Antilles. A recent scatterometer satellite pass captured
fresh to strong easterly winds from 12N to 23N and between 52W and
the Lesser Antilles. Seas are 6-9 ft in the area described.
Development, if any, of this system should be slow to occur during
the next day or two before it moves into a region of unfavorable
upper-level winds. Even though development is unlikely, locally
heavy rains and strong gusty winds are expected across portions of
the Lesser Antilles during the next day or so. The system has a
low chance of tropical cyclone development during the next 7 days.
