I hope you're right O Town ... I just know the idiocy factor of some folks in my neck of the woods and I can just see folks down along south Padre grumbling if they have to close up shop on a holiday weekend. I can already hear the comments "These hurricane forecasts are never accurate." ... "It could go anywhere" ... blah blah blah

Think this is just a bad combination. Maybe I'm too cynical but I know the love of the Almighty Dollar in the minds of some.

Perhaps you're right and if this storm makes it into the Gulf and strengthens, they'll be enough of a media frenzy to alert even the most clueless of our population.

True Portastorm. There are always going to be some that will never learn till its too late. *sigh* I just hope alot of people did learn something last year.
