This Western Carribean Blob never had any real chance for development.

I've been talking about it for days now. It blows up and then it dies, blows ups and dies. But there is a tropical wave now that is firing pretty nicely in the Western/NW Caribbean as it interacts with a front.

Looks like the thunderstorms are persisting pretty nicely. Lets see if they persist throughout the day. I'm still suspicious of the W. Caribbean.

What I noticed is that the thunderstorms are developing and fading out then another complex develops in a different spot in the Western Caribbean. We need these storms to consolidate into one mass otherwise nothing will happen down there.

The current blob seems to have persisted longer than any blob so far.
