April 2-6=National Hurricane Conference in New Orlreans

April 3=Colorado State University 2007 season outlook

April 8=Easter Day

April 22=Earth Day

May 8=AccuWeather Hurricane Summit at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Houston, TX

May 8-10=Texas Hurricane Conference at Moody Gardens on Galveston Island

May 13=Mothers Day

May 14-18=Floridas Governors Hurricane Conference in FT Lauderdale

May 20-26=NOAA'S Hurricane Awareness week

May 21-June 1=Florida Tax Break

May 28=Memorial Day

May 31=Colorado State University hours before season starts May outlook

Thanks.. Thankfully the Gators play on the Friday game, so I won't miss the opening round game ;) The sunday game is all but guaranteed to be missed as I will be flying to Vegas :)

You are right about how time is flying.I made this countdown thread 50 days ago as of March 16th and here we are with 75 days left for the official start of the 2007 hurricane season.

And I finished attaching h-headers and f-tracks to my house already. At least that is one thing I won't have to worry about. Now onto a few more projects before South Fla. gets too warm and sticky to make working outside nice.

The poll exclusivly will be about the number of named storms/number of hurricanes/number of major hurricanes.There is a poll that I made about landfalls in the U.S. that you can vote. :darrow:

It's almost here as only there are a few days left for the Official Storm2k forecast numbers poll to start.It will start at 6:00 PM EDT sharp next Sunday,April 1rst so if you want to be one of the first to be on the list,be here around that time.

Personally I'm not as interested this year as usual. I think it is a combination of all the death and destruction of the 2004 & 2005 seasons, that and many of the newbies last year who seemed out for blood and disappointed with the lack of mass destruction.
