Anyone can participate and make a guess about when and where the second named storm will form.Lets have some fun and see if any of the guesses are right.

On July 23rd around 250 miles east of Martinique.

How about June 25th, western Gulf of Mexico near the Texas coast.

Between August 20th-25th in the Bahamas - will flow a path close to Bob in 1991.

Hummm, don't like i, but once again i'm sad for my neighbours from the south Cycloneye arff, remember already the monster Dean...
I bet, and i go for the gulf of mexico on June 29th.

Second week of July, probably the 11th or 12th.

I can't really think of "where" right now though, but it probably doesn't matter since I'm never right anyway. :wink:

First week of July in either the central or western Caribbean. I also think that Bertha will become our first hurricane of the season, with the storm likely reaching category one or two status at some point during its life.

Many posters are expecting a quiet early season this year me included. Although we may have a few depressions earlier, I will go with August 12 for Bertha near the Leeward islands.

I think it will form August 5th from a CV wave but doesn't get going till western Atlantic.

My guess is that Bertha will form July 8 in the northwestern Caribbean.
