These waves are holding convection really well for Early July, even if Bertha wasn't in the picture it would be fairly impressive but Bertha is the stand out feature.

I wouldn't be surprised if another one of those waves eventually develops, probably west of where Bertha did though

The way things are going,it would not surprise me to see Dolly make an apearance this month. Seems to be heading in the direction of a higher than normal name count for July

Posssibly, I do think Bertha shows we will have a favorable pattern for cape verde storms.

I guess the only thing to do is hope none of them are hurricanes headed for a Carribean country or the US
