...check out the circulation around that convection around 8N northeast of S. America.

I saw it on quikscat yesterday. It was an almost closed surface low.

That's the second one this year... Granted the other one was closer to the equator and was much more well-defined.

thats very odd. I expected it to be naked when I first looked at it. Mets: Any explanations.

Blow-off is covering up the low clouds now, but the anticyclonic motion was obvious all day and through the early evening.
