Hmmmm ... are they are still eyeing the LLC quite intently?? ...

1012 MB LOW IS LOCATED NEAR THE SE BAHAMAS AT 23N72W MOVING W
15-20 KT. THE LOW-LEVEL CIRCULATION IS DISPLACED TO THE SW OF
THE MID-LEVEL CIRCULATION WHICH GENERALLY IS NOT A FAVORABLE
CIRCUMSTANCE FOR IMMEDIATE DEVELOPMENT. IN ADDITION TSTM
ACTIVITY REMAINS SPOTTY NEAR THE CENTER. HOWEVER WIND SHEAR IS
GENERALLY FAIRLY LIGHT AND THE SYSTEM HAS GOTTEN BETTER
ORGANIZED ESPECIALLY IN THE LOW-LEVELS. SEE MIATWOAT FOR MORE
DETAILS. ISOLATED MODERATE IS MOSTLY N AND E OF THE LOW-LEVEL
CENTER FROM 24N-28.5N BETWEEN 67W-73W.

TROPICAL WAVES/ITCZ...
TROPICAL WAVE IS ALONG 22W S OF 24N WITH A 1011 MB LOW NEAR 21N
MOVING W NEAR 10-15 KT. QUIKSCAT RECENTLY PEGGED THE LOCATION
OF THE LOW BUT SHOWED NO WINDS GREATER THAN 10 KT ANYWHERE NEAR
THE CENTER. INTERESTINGLY...SAL IN THE CAPE VERDE ISLANDS
REPORTED WESTERLY WINDS UP TO 700 MB IN THE 12Z SOUNDING.. A
RATHER RARE EVENT. DESPITE ITS WELL-DEFINED STRUCTURE... THERE
IS NO SIGNIFICANT CONVECTION WITH THE WAVE.
