Ike Reintensifying

Ike is now reintensifying after having to battle northeasterly shear the last couple of days. The upper level outflow of the storm is becoming better with time and Ike has reopened his eye!

Here is the latest aircraft recon data, which shows a rather significant drop in pressure and much stronger flight level winds:
