Quite breezy today as well. A building ridge is promoting
the east flow on the north side of the ring of convection,
aiding the circulation, which is labeled as a 1013 mb
low when you click on fronts.

My sinus is hurting badly too!!!

And it is windy....my windows are making the "WHOOOSSHing"
noises

Looks like a frontal low most likely, because it is along the stationary
front. These frontal lows can produce severe thunderstorms with damaging
downbursts. So watch for any thunderstorm cells that get big.

Yeah, my leg hurt last night and today.

You could see the inflow clouds towards the Yucatan disturbance south of the island today. Wait til that gets in the Gulf and NHC reports it and everyone will suddenly get on the bandwagon.

Click on FRONTS, on this rainbow loop-
a 1014 mb Low Pressure Center is located about 40 miles Southwest
of the Fort Myers/Sanibel Island Areas. Large heavy squalls extend
south over Key West and much of South Florida. Also it continues
to be windy:

My House: East 30 mph Gusts 42 mph (windows shaking hard as strong bursts
of wind hit it); Crude Visual Estimate; But the noise does not lie, it really sounds
loud hitting the windows, enough to make you jump and startle.

East Wind Sustained 25 mph Gusts 32 mph, Saint Petersburg Station

East Wind Sustained 22 mph Saint Petersburg Airport:
http://www.weather.gov/data/obhistory/KSPG.html

Gusts are likely occuring to 30 mph.

Clearwater/Saint Pete Airport:
http://forecast.weather.gov/MapClick.ph ... &map.y=147
East Wind gusting to 24 mph

This low pressure area with heavy convection is distinct from
96L; it is much closer to Florida (only about 40-50 miles offshore SW
Florida along a front that is lifting north).

Expect heavy squalls through tonight and tomorrow
across South Florida.

I've been getting moderate rain here in Boca Raton nonstop since 4pm today. I feel like I'm living thru Fay all over again.

In a very slight drought here....Seems like the rest of the peninsula has had too much water.

lol....maybe the rainbands around this frontal low pressure will
bust tampa bay's slight drought...maybe if the front goes north enough
it can pump moisture into the SE where they really need rain- Georgia/SC

Intense Cyclonic Turning Near Key West Moving North! Very Heavy
Rainbands around it! This must be a mid level mesocyclone
at least!!! Something is brewing here! Look at all that heavy
convection, and Well Defined Rotation!

This looks like a clear Baroclinic-Cyclonic storm with 50 mph winds based on my analysis
of the velocity radar
