NEw Map?

#3 Postby wxman57 » Fri Aug 15, 2003 11:54 am

Most of those tracks appear to be from last night. They originate well east of 90W - some near 85W from yesterday afternoon. Are they supposed to be from 12Z models?

With the exception of the GFDL (15/06Z), they aren't supposed to be 12Z, they are  .

StormTrakker has had issues with this particular storm. Typically it overlays a correctly assigned storm number (I used 08 for Invest 91) with TPC coords when a storm is "official". It did not do that with Erika which required 2 maps yesterday. Today it is displaying current *and* previous coords for some models. I don't know why (haven't research to determine if there was a header issue) but this is beta.

I have blown out the storm and reentered everything; unable to ingest 12Z GFDL so that is stale.

Hope that helps and thanks.
