Probably nothing to write home about, but given the lack of activity I guess it could be some point of interest.

If this persists, I could see it becoming an entity (strictly from a non-professional looking at satellite imagery).

The front that is draped through Florida is producing showers in the Gulf as well. Its usually the very tail end of the front that cuts off and develops. That would be gulf side.
