#1 Postby Kludge » Wed Aug 12, 2009 10:39 pm

Winds are not desired, but soaking rains are desperately needed for folks over in S Texas...

If any of them appear to be "wxshcasting" on this board, let's give them a break and hope they get some relief...

Okay, as long as you keep it on the west side of the Sabine then I'll pray that you get some much needed moisture by way of steady, cool, gentle showers for a few days with intermittent breaks to allow for water absorbtion and runoff of any excess. Now don't let me hear you complain that the grass has grown 6" afterwards. LOL

Hows that for -removed- on your behalf?

Thank you. Kludge. Thought for sure I'd get some really good rain yesterday afternoon with all that severe stuff around and got nada. I finally remembered to plant pumpkins this year (I eat the blossoms) at the right time and they are about shot. Here it is only a few minutes past 4AM and the temp is 78 degrees.
This weekend I'll be getting my ducks in a row and checking my hurricane supplies. Usually have it done before now, but really saw no need. This heat is really taking a toll on this old lady!
