Hurricane Prepared?

Re: Hurricane Prepared?
Hmmm, please check your spare tire. A very recent experience can save alot of you the same trouble I had. I had my first blow out since buying my vehicle literally during Rita. The spare was a brand new full size tire identical to the ones on the vehicle. It was immediately installed and within a few miles of travel I noticed a new problem. The spare only had 18 lbs. of pressure in it. Over the years tires do lose their pressure due to the heat so make sure and check your spare and not just assume that because it's new then it's good to go. I've now marked it on my calender to check my spare tire pressure on the same day as daylight savings to avoid this in the future.
