Flare-up In Bay of Campeche

#1 Postby frederic79 » Wed Sep 16, 2009 8:10 am

Did anyone notice the flare-up of intense convection moving slowly north off Mexico into the Bay of Campeche? Buoy Station 42055 to the NNE of the convection shows pressure readings around 1011mb. Additionally, SST's are in the 86-87 degree range. Any thoughts?
