EPAC Development Near Baja
Surprised no one has started a Topic on this. ECMWF as well as the GFS are hinting of a system near the Baja later this week. TX WFO's are already discussing the impacts concerning increased rainfall next weekend.

NWS TPC/NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER MIAMI FL
500 PM PDT MON SEP 28 2009
FOR THE EASTERN NORTH PACIFIC...EAST OF 140 DEGREES WEST LONGITUDE..
A LARGE AREA OF CLOUDINESS AND SHOWERS EXTENDS FROM NEAR THE
SOUTHWEST COAST OF MEXICO SOUTHWESTWARD FOR SEVERAL HUNDRED MILES.
CONDITIONS APPEAR FAVORABLE FOR GRADUAL DEVELOPMENT OF THIS SYSTEM
DURING THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS AS IT MOVES WEST-NORTHWESTWARD
AROUND 10 MPH. THERE IS A MEDIUM CHANCE....30 TO 50 PERCENT...OF
THIS SYSTEM BECOMING A TROPICAL CYCLONE DURING THE NEXT 48 HOURS.
ELSEWHERE...TROPICAL CYCLONE FORMATION IS NOT EXPECTED DURING THE
NEXT 48 HOURS.
