looks like it might be no other models are picking up on it yet, might not even happen we are talking about the cmc anyway last weekend we had a system come up the coast it looked really good no one talked about it but on sat it was spinning something good up and by sat 10 pm its was hitting us really good with wind and rain and storms awesome night to be outside and enjoying the weather

The Canadian develops a weak low (1009mb) on a cold front just offshore in 5 days. The low tracks up the front and inland into New England. It also has SW winds at 50-90 kts in the upper levels atop the surface low. So it's nothing to be concerned about.
12Z GFS shows the same thing - weak low (1012mb) along the front between Hatteras and Long Island next week. However, 200mb winds are from the SSW at 90-110 kts over the low. It's definitely not a tropical feature.
