It’s a small area but seems to have that “swirlly” look!

I agree, I think a low is forming:

DISTINCT CYCLONIC CIRCULATION IS
NOTED ON SATELLITE IMAGERY.

I noted that comment in the Tropical Weather Discussion from NHC/NOAA also. It certainly merits a watchful eye....

Guys in the San Juan NWS think otherwise, accordingly with this early Area Forecast Discussion.
...INTERESTING TO NOTE THAT MJO CONDITIONS ARE FCST TO BECOME HIGHLY
UNFAVORABLE FOR ORGANIZED HEAVY RAINFALL AND TROPICAL CYCLONE
FORMATION ACROSS THE TROP ATLC AS MJO CONTINUES TO PROPAGATE FROM
THE INDIAN OCEAN TO THE MARITIME CONTINENT. GIVEN STRONG CONSENSUS BETWEEN
STATISTICAL AND DYNAMICAL MODELS OF STRONG POSITIVE VELOCITY
POTENTIAL ANOMALIES ACROSS THE ATLC BASIN IT APPEARS WE ARE IN FOR
A RATHER QUIET PERIOD OF LOW RAINFALL AND TC ACTIVITY BEGINNING
EARLY NEXT WEEK.

We cut the search of posts icon because it was slowing the board due to the many people that are here. :)

When the load gets as high as it is now, those searches will bring the server to its knees. In case you didn't notice, just before 11am when the advisory was about to come out the page load time was getting really slow - that was because some people were doing searches on top of about 550 people hitting refresh every couple of seconds.

So the choice is live without searching when the load is high, or live without s2k entirely. 8-)
