Looks from satellite like the heaviest convection is reforming with another MLC, south of Hispanola?

Is this an "open wave" with multiple centers of vorticity?

Meanwhile, the tropical Atlantic is percolating like a coffee pot. I guess we're all gonna be busy these next few weeks.

Looking at the latest QuikSCAT...there is nothing even close to a LLC this morning.
