pre georges(1998) pattern?
does anyone have any idea of the evolution of the upper air pattern over the atlantic in the months prior to the development and track of hurricane georges in mid-sept 1998?....trying to ascertain the developments that resulted in the very persistent ridge that drove georges on a very steady w to wnw course for the better part of two weeks
.....rich......edit: perhaps the id'ing of that pattern might have a bearing on the future of this CV season...ie early recurves followed by a us landfalling cv
