Hurricane Tracking Chart

#1 Postby hurricanetrack » Tue May 17, 2011 9:06 am

Greetings! I do not often, if ever, post anything related to the business side of HurricaneTrack.com but in this case, I thought it would be appropriate. I asked one of the admins for permission and it was granted. So here it is....

We are offering a fantastic paper hurricane tracking chart as a fund raising effort for our field work this season. The chart measures 18" by 24" and is in brilliant full color on high end printing paper. It looks like a work of art! We printed 500 of them and hope to sell as many as possible throughout the season- obviously, the sooner the better.

You may purchase one via our site for $12.95 and this includes shipping. Since Storm2k is allowing me to post this, and they too need the $$$ support from time to time, I would like to donate every 5th sale back to Storm2k! That's a net of $10.00 per map. If you have a shop or store and would like to purchase 10 or more to sell at your location, send me an email for a discounted price. mailroom@hurricanetrack.com

Thank you and happy hurricane tracking this season!

Mark

Mark and HurricaneTrack.com have been around here for a long time and have always participated here at S2K They do a lot of good for those that are threatened by TC's and for the weather community as a whole. If you track storms using a "real map" like I do I encourage you to take advantage of this offer. They have some more innovative tools they will be using this year to help during and after any TC's that may landfall in the US. If enough members take advantage of this you will also be helping S2K.

Ok, we have one! Let's get four more and that fifth one will go to Storm2k ($10). I think if psyclone shows his to people where he lives and works, we might do well with this. I can't wait to hear what you think of it when it arrives. It's going in the mail Friday. Thanks!

I got the map today. it is really nice and big too. that has always been lacking in a hurricane tracking chart. 8 1/2 x 11 doesn't cut it for the atlantic basin! this puppy is a foot and a half by two feet. if you're a map geek and a weather geek like me... you'll like this.

Get your hurricane tracking map now while we still have them! I am taking a bunch with me to FL for the Clewiston event. Only printed 500 total. Have plenty left but you want to get yours before the first named storm forms!

Excellent. It is going in the mail today. I will check and see how many orders I think have come from this link. Hope to make a donation to S2k soon! Still have about 150 maps left total if others are interested.

Thanks for the business. It all adds up, trust me.
