How many Named storms do you think there will be in July?

Well, this is not backed up by any reasoning, but I say Bret, Cindy and a TD.

i voted 0. july is usually no man's land with lots of SAL outbreaks.

SAL won't affect west Caribbean or Gulf developments (like Arlene). All the dry/dusty air is confined to the far eastern Atlantic where we typically wouldn't see storms forming in July.

Still, I said 1. I think things won't really heat up until August, when we see 5 named storms.
