The Mega Cities of the Western Pacific

#1 Postby euro6208 » Thu Jul 14, 2011 5:17 am

I wonder, if a strong typhoon (Category 4 or 5) were to hit any major populated city like Shanghai, the whole of china, Tokyo, Seoul, manila, hong kong, taipei what would be the damage? I know we are the most prepared in the world for tropical cyclones but these cities rarely experience a typhoon landfall. What would happen? Can anyone explain?
