Fabian?

Looking at this Dvorak image, the nhc has to name 10D pretty soon.

I agree Tip, I think we have Fabian now. They will probably upgrade at the 11 EDT advisory. :-)

It's easily a minimal tropical storm by now. I agree that by 11 am edt, a tropical storm would be named and it's name is Fabian!!

Just as an addendum, the negative NAO seems to popping storms all over the place as a new blob has appeared at about 55W and 12N.

Yup, things are certainly heating up now as we are nearing the peak of the Atlantic hurricane season.
