6:30 AM CDT Storm2k Tropical update-8/29/03

The 6:30am CDT Storm2k tropical update can be found at http://storm2k.org/Weather-Central/Trop ... ropics.htm

Check out the latest on the organizing tropical wave in the Yucatan channel. Conditions favor development as the system moves NW into the open Gulf of Mexico. Will it become the eleventh Tropcial Cyclone of the season? I think so. Some of the tropical models think so. It sure is looking good to me. What do you think?

Meanwhile in the South Central Atlantic TS Fabian continues strengthening and moving Westward. Will he become Hurricane Fabian today?

So much for being bored LOL I think the Carib system may go straight to TS today and Fabian to hurricane. I hope everyone has been practising their speed reading for the ChatRoom! It's going to be busy this weekend! See ya there!!! :-)
