Names that might eventually be used to name tropical storms?
There are millions of names out there, but which ones do you think will have a major chance of being picked for being the names of future tropical storms or hurricanes?
Here are some of my picks:
Ashley - Easy to pronounce, fairly relevant, and we've already seen the names Amanda and Andrea chosen for naming in recent years.
Imogene - The infamous I storms never seem to stop, so there is a good chance we might get to see this name pop up sooner or later.
Fatima - In case another F storm causes havoc enough to be retired.
Which names do you think might have a chance?

Pauline is eligible for use. Only retired in the EPAC
Celia is a current EPAC name, yet a retired Atlantic name. Was a cat 5 in 2010

If Ida ever gets retired I'm thinking it will probably be replaced with Ina or Ivy, since they were apparently deciding between those two names when replacing Isabel.

Oh please, not Cyle. Not only is Kyle already on the this year's list, but Cyle is a very bad spelling, as when C comes in front of Y in English it should be pronounced as S, not K.
Ariel, Angel, and Alexis are still male names in Spanish-speaking cultures, by the way, so might not be good choices for "female" spots.

I've never seen a Hurricane Mary (thought that's my real name and I can be one )

Ariel - The Little Mermaid? It would be a good female name.
Elsa?
Aurora?
Jasmine?
Anna?
Belle?

There was a Super Typhoon Mary in 1965, a category 5...

Went ahead and looked back at this list, and two of the names mentioned have now been selected as replacements for retired names since the last post in this thread.
Elsa has replaced Erika.
The other spelling of Margo, Margot, has replaced Maria.
No other names mentioned in this thread have been selected to replace any new names yet.
