Jimena's final approach

seems to have started toward Hawaii. Look for a Hurricane <b><u>WARNING</b></u> sometime tomorrow and a landfall or sideswipe coming on Labor Day.

This is the system that should have all of our attention as there is a real chance of the first major hurricane to impact the USA since Lenny in November 1999

There appears to be a definite turn to the WNW for the time being, but this also brings Jimena over colder waters so some weakening to a degree is likely. I'd expect to see a watch as well tomorrow..
