This is likely the longest "On this Date" by year that has been made :lol: . Its an under-rated hurricane for sure, perhaps one of the most. Some info I haven't heard before, but the piece that I don't get was one from the Fox article where they have a quote of one of the survivors stating that the winds started up a whole week before the hurricane came in...that can't be related right? No low pressure system moving like this can do that (from this Earth that is).

Its possible that to them it seemed like a week

They would have to be cavemen to be that naive...they had calenders and would have made it clear in these historical documents that it was not a literal statement.
