If this season turns out the way everyone is predicting I would not be concerned too much, but I still would not let your guard down! A storm like Andrew could happen in any given season.

I would not put to much stock on seasonal predictions as they have been a crap shoot last few yrs. All you need is a favorable 2-3 week period and someone could have a bad yr. As jim mentions sfl has a tendency to get hit during slow seasons so well see.

Jim has had a good track record. I believe since he started 2003 except for last year at least one of his areas had been effected. Considering how bad everyone else did last year it is not too bad.

Interesting they use statistics to calculate these odds. These Florida cities must be off the charts over due, 9 years for a Hurricane (though he includes just named systems effects). They all must be ticking time bombs on that peninsula :wink:. But then again, statistics said Florida should not have gone this long but it has.
