Tropical Wave in Eastern Atlantic

#1 Postby cycloneye » Thu Aug 20, 2015 6:45 pm

New chance to develop for this wave after it emerges West Africa.

Another tropical wave is expected to move off the west coast of
Africa over the weekend. Some development of this system is
possible early next week while it moves westward over the eastern
tropical Atlantic Ocean.

GFS and Euro move low pressure west with hints of development but we have to see more runs from them to have a better picture .

NHC already has this wave at 30% development chances within 5 days in their 8 p.m. TWO this evening. Also, the other wave which will be emerging off the African coast later this weekend is at 20% development chances currently. The EURO showed these two waves developing into Erika and Fred.within the next 5-7 days. So, it looks like the Cape Verde season is finally taking off and it appears that we will have quite a bit to watch potentially over the next 10-14 days in the North Atlantic basin.
