Jason Kelley has passed away

Jason was the chief met at WJHG in Panama City from 1999-2009. I considered him a friend, both personally, and professionally to the NWS. I think he was a Storm2K member. He had been battling liver cancer for several years. Jason was only 45. RIP and condolences to his wife and daughters.

Aw man, I totally missed this. Wxman007! He was a great poster here and CFHC all those years. He invited me into the studio at Channel 7 in Panama City, so I and my oldest two met him back in the early 2000's. Damn, really sorry to hear this.

I experienced Ivan and remember his broadcast as I watched cloud rotation pass over my community.
My condolences to his family and rest in peace.
