Henri. Checking on water, snacks, etc. Don't expect anything major, but wouldn't be surprised to have power outages, heavy flooding and other nuisances

Hope all in the path of Henri are taking precautions just in case it gets a bit more fierce than anticipated.

Take care.

Dixie...

I know I'm well inland, but I myself am a little concerned about how BEAUTIFUL of a day we're having down here... It may allow for severe weather to spark up later when Henri makes his approach.. He'll probably just be a minimal to moderate TS but those things can still do a lot of damage if they bring too much water...

Hi Jo, you should be OK unless Henri comes in more SE -- which I doubt at this point. Steering seems to be NE for the most part. We will be just on the S of the center, so will get a lot of wind and rain. Stay safe.

Local met here in Orlando did say possibly 3-5 inches of rain for us here if not more...

I have to go out for the afternoon around 1 or so.. I hope Henri doesn't throw a curveball and steam roll on shore lol...

If this storm keeps moving this slow... I think 3-5 inches is just a guess.. Cause I have the feeling we may actually get like 7 inches of rain here... Just my opinion since the storm is moving so slow...

Stay safe if you are in the path of Henri. And be prepared for potentially flooding rains. 3 to 5 inches would not be bad, but with a slow mover like this - 10 inches or more is possible over the next few days.

The showers, rains and thunderstorms along the Florida Gulf coast is moving so slowly, imagine how much rain is going to fall over the peninsula over the next two days! :o :o :)

Will be interesting to see what happens when he gets over Gulf Stream, as slow as he seems to be going. Especially with the more westward move on models.
