HURRICANE WARNING FOR BERMUDA...

#1 Postby WXBUFFJIM » Thu Sep 04, 2003 9:56 am

A hurricane warning has been issued by the weather service in Bermuda as Hurricane Fabian continues to approach the island. A hurricane warning means that the hurricane conditions are expected within 24 hours or less.

Maximum sustained winds remain at 120 mph with higher gusts as fabian continues on a slow north northwest track. Outflow has become better defined with a large well dfined eye with the establishd CDO or central dense overcast surrounding it. Further strengthening is likely with Fabian over the next 24 hours as it approaches Bermuda. The center is expected to go right through Bermuda with winds up to 130 mph and seas of 25-40 feet possible.

All interests in Bermuda need to get their last minute hurricane preps in order and rush those to completion. Residents and tourists in Bermuda need to take shelter immediately as Fabian approaches!!! This is a dangerous and life threatening situation for Bermuda.

I was in Bermuda last June. I pray for the safety of everyone on the island.

They are saying this may be the worst hurricane to have ever hit Bermuda. My prayers are with them.

My prayers are with the residents of Bermuda as well. I can only hope that the worst of the hurricane stays off-shore.
