TROPICAL DEPRESSION TWELVE IS CENTERED NEAR 27.9N 87.1W AT
04/1500 UTC MOVING NE 2 KT. MAXIMUM SUSTAINED WIND SPEED IS 30
KT WITH GUSTS TO 40 KT. ESTIMATED MINIMUM CENTRAL PRESSURE IS
1010 MB. SEE LATEST NHC FORECAST/ADVISORY UNDER AWIPS/WMO
HEADERS MIATCMAT2/WTNT22 KNHC FOR MORE DETAILS. VISIBLE
SATELLITE PICTURES SHOWS A LOW-LEVEL CENTER CLOSE TO A BALL OF
DEEP CONVECTION IN THE NE GULF... THE SYSTEM IS VERY CLOSE TO
STORM STATUS. CURVED BANDS ARE APPARENT ON THE W SIDE THOUGH
THE DEPRESSION REMAINS ELONGATED TO THE NE. CONVECTION IS
INCREASING NEAR THE CENTER WITH SCATTERED MODERATE FROM 26N-29N
BETWEEN TAMPA AND 87W.
