Anyone heard anymore about anything developing in the GOM next week? The cool-front is right along the coastline - don't know if it will push off into the GOM or not.

I haven't heard anything from the local mets on anything developing in the NW GOM. Would be interesting if anyone has any insight into this. Front has passed and is along the coast this morning - nice lower humidities.

I went through all the globals this morning and saw very model guidance support to indicate this including the ensemble members.

Houston News Stations Last night mentioned that some models have a tropical system developing in the BOC and heading towards us (H-town). They put ??? over rain chances for Tues and Wed.
Front moved through this AM, I woke up to thunder heading towards the Gulf. I can't see what will develop, but this time of year, you never know.

Feeling the lower humidity here on the MS Gulf Coast too. It is nice, I might add. Supposed to be a great weekend here and in the upper 60's in the mornings.
