7:00AM Tropical update for Friday, September 5, 2003

#1 Postby vbhoutex » Fri Sep 05, 2003 6:57 am

The 7:00am CDT Storm2k tropical update can be found at http://storm2k.org/Weather-Central/Trop ... ropics.htm

In the Atlantic Hurricane Fabian is moving N towards Bermuda with winds of 120 mph and gusts to 150 mph. He is no longer a threat to the US, however he is expected to do a direct hit on Bermuda later today. The Canadian Maritimes could be in harms way. The tropical wave is still looking healthy SW of the Cape Verde Islands. We are also watching Tropical Storm Henri in the Eastern Gulf of Mexico. Check it all out at the above link.
