SSD T number for Henri 4.0

That is way up there but is this a hurricane as those 4.0 T numbers reflect?

Sorry cycloneye -- didn't see your post. I agree, those are 'cane numbers. The NHC must see something we don't. Maybe the pressure has dropped again?

I am a total novice, but I recently looked at a visible sat loop of Henri and the last few frames showed it looking a LOT more impressive.

What's happened here was the intense wrapping of the convection on the NW'ern quad and the way that it wrapped in... I don't believe this is a hurricane by any means but Henri has become better defined and organized ...

Thanks for that info, SF. Any thoughts on how strong the max winds might be at landfall?

It sure looks that way and just maybe if sits out there long enough, who knows it may just become a hurricane.
