Movement...

#2 Postby Josephine96 » Fri Sep 05, 2003 4:11 pm

Even though it's movement appears to be quite erratic.. thank god its moving again... even though it's less than 100 miles from the coast, the fact of it's slow movement kinda still frightens me a little for 2 reasons..

1. We don't need anymore rain here lol
and

2. It could still strengthen even if it only strengthens another 5mph...

Watching and waiting for On-Ray's effects lol

Henri moved very little since the last advisory. Went from 28.3N to 28.4N and remained at 83.9W from the previous advisory.

Did you notice in the accompanying discussion that NHC is planning on Henri dying completely on the Atlantic side? That's 180 degrees different from Bastardi's view.

This could get ugly...

Most of his rain is on shore and the center hasn't even arrived yet.. Maybe he'll spark some last minute storms around the center to save his life...

It's possible for convection to develop around the center. It certainly flared this afternoon (around 2:00 PM EDT).

The center was about 75 miles from Cedar Key, Florida at 5:00 PM EDT.

The circulation probably won't totally fall apart before making it into the Atlantic. If it can remain intact, it could redevelop; that has been the general consensus with this system even as recent as Noon today.
