- Does anyone here know any site that has gifs and images of tropical cyclones from 1979 until today? -
On wikimedia commons I find few images in various tropical cyclones links. Some places only show 2 images: a near or peak intensity image and the route of the system (Ex. Hagibis 2002: https://commons.m.wikimedia.org/wiki/Ca ... ibis_(2002) ). and I wanted to know more about various systems, but some sites that suggest to me never open (Ex. IbTracs).
If anyone here knows of any, please post them here. I would be so grateful.

There's a few that I've found both here and elsewhere over the last few years:
Modified Dvorak scheme (colorized), can easily make gifs from the images from 1978 onward

Hi-res visible and IR from 1997 onward

HTML5 IR and storm-centered VIS loops from 2006 onward

Lesser Antilles-specific loops of storms that have affected the area (linked by another member a few months ago)

1978+ Youtube videos from Lake Charles NWS, focuses specifically on storms affecting the US (in progress, several aren't up yet, also contains radar)

HURSAT is a great site for imagery, though not very user-friendly
