Joe Bastardi thoughts this afternoon

#1 Postby Vortex » Sat Sep 06, 2003 4:17 pm

Basically says will become a major Hurricane and advises all residents in the islands to monitor closely. He thinks there's a good chance it comes through the islands at 15n or above and over or near Puerto Rico then into the bahamas.

LOL I for one have eaten crow on pretty much all of the systems this year. Except Claudette I was pretty right on with her. Except that was before I discovered this board. :-)

Perhaps JB hasn't looked at a shear map lately. Perhaps JB needs to stopping hugging the Canadian/UKMET ...

JB also said Henri would be a hurricane when it hit the west coast of Florida. I guess 15-20 kts is almost a hurricane.
