Poll: Which Storm will be Stronger?
So we got two storms coexisting in each basin: Lee in the Atlantic and Jova in the Pacific. Both storms are forecast to become major hurricanes by the NHC. With the way it's going we could have two Category 4 hurricanes active at the same time.
So my poll is, which one will be the stronger storm?

Re: Which Storm will be Stronger?
I'm going to say they will be twins....it's a tie between them both....Category Four....but I will edit and go with the flow....Lee will be stronger....Category 4....let's hope that is all it will be known for, and stay away from all land areas....

I am in no way a professional. Take what I say with a grain of salt as I could be totally wrong. Please refer to the NHC, NWS, or SPC for official information.

Lee, at 165 mph and 910-915 mbar. I see Jova peaking as a mid-Category 4, maybe at 140-150 mph and in the 930s.

Do not take anything I say seriously as a form of meteorological prediction. I am not a meteorologist; I don't think being in law school translates to any special knowledge. I am just a somewhat bullish amateur watcher.

Re: Poll: Which Storm will be Stronger?
Well Jova is certainly going to give Lee a run for it's money at this rate.

It's looking like Jova took the results of this poll personally...
That being said, with the lack of EPac recon, we'll never truly know.

Re: Poll: Which Storm will be Stronger?
Jova just cracked category 5 and is now explicitly forecast to peak at 150 kts... Yeah Jova wouldn't let Lee steal her thunder

I don't think Lee will get the deep, cold ridiculous presentation like Jova. It will do so at a higher latitude, but it will have recon so more realistic observations.

Be careful what you say, friend. Tropical cyclones are like cats, very unpredictable.

Re: Poll: Which Storm will be Stronger?
While extremely unlikely, imagine if Lee somehow tied Jova in the end. Same 1-min sustained winds and same minimum core pressure

Unless explicitly stated, all info in my posts is based on my own opinions and observations. Tropical storms and hurricanes can be extremely dangerous. Do not think you can beat Mother Nature. Refer to an accredited weather research agency or meteorologist if you need to make serious decisions regarding an approaching storm.
Re: Poll: Which Storm will be Stronger?
I know Lee will look very different even just 24 hours from now, but just putting this here for the lolz in the mean time
