Hi mods, please create a poll with the following options:
Less than 130 mph
130 mph
140-145 mph
150-155 mph
160-165 mph
170 mph
175 mph or greater
Since I didn't see one already, I thought I'd start a thread for members to give their predictions for Lee's peak intensity. How strong (MSLP and wind) do you think Lee will be?
I'll start with (a quite possibly conservative) 135kts/155mph and 926 mb.

I am in no way a professional. Take what I say with a grain of salt as I could be totally wrong. Please refer to the NHC, NWS, or SPC for official information.

Totally agree Lee is going to be retired with this level of bang.

Re: Poll: How strong will Lee be?
My guess is 145kts/918mb.
For those insane runs to verify it requires a perfect structure and that really comes down to chance with eyewall cycles and if the eye shrinks small enough to drop pressure like a bomb. Storms going sub-910 outside of the Gulf and Caribbean is also extremely rare, so I am having trouble buying those 900mb runs. On the other hand, Franklin did set a record for the most intense that far north with 926mb, so maybe Lee will pull off a record for the open ATL.
